Project No. 334 · August 2018
A checkerboard bookcase with LED lighting and the CONSOLE extending table
A living room bookcase of grey boxes and light open niches with LED lighting. On the other wall, hanging shelves and the CONSOLE table: a console when closed, a long table when extended.
About the project
The bookcase is made of grey boxes and light open niches set out like a checkerboard. LED strips run inside the niches, so in the evening the bookcase lights up from within.
On the opposite wall, between the curtains, hang open shelves with the CONSOLE table below them. Closed, it is a narrow console against the wall; with the extra leaves it extends into a long table with a metal leg in the middle.
