Project No. 768 · July 2020
A 160 wall bed without a sofa: tufted headboard, wardrobes, shelves and a transforming coffee table
A 3804 × 2448 mm wall unit: a 160 × 200 bed with a tufted headboard and two lamps, open shelves and wardrobes with drawers on each side, top cabinets above. Plus a white coffee table that opens into a dining table.
About the project
The 160 × 200 bed has no sofa: by day it is closed behind a light wood front, and open it shows a tufted soft headboard and two reading lamps on flexible arms. The bed niche and the shelves are in a warmer oak.
Open shelves flank the bed, with two-door wardrobes beyond them. Below the wardrobes and shelves are two wide drawers on each side. A row of top cabinets runs along the whole unit.
The white coffee table lifts up and unfolds: the top doubles in size and becomes a dining table.
